I can’t wait to tell you about Murmuration, the book I have been dreaming up since May 2019. I am pleased to say that it will be published on Friday 24th May this year! Read on to find out how you can get involved.
Let me tell you a little more about my novel:
Murmuration is a Young Adult magic realist dystopia. It has crossover appeal so hopefully adults and young adults alike will be drawn in…
When the birds have a message, they will stop at nothing to get your attention.
And when a murmur rises and no one notices, it will grow and grow until the whole sky is filled with its noise.
The birds came, a whole skyful of them. The next day the adults were gone.
Jay is desperate to get off the island to find his mother, but when the adults disappear his only job is to keep everyone alive.
Fee, a mysterious outsider appears, but Jay is sure she’s keeping something from him. When she falls dangerously ill, Jay must decide whether he’s willing to face his biggest fears to save her.

Here is the cover which I absolutely love and which has been designed by the genius that is Sophie Burdess. She took my inarticulate ideas and made them into something better than anything I could have dreamed of.
