#34

There are toys strewn over the house,
a pile of washing up,
a garden full of the trail of a day’s play.
Ben is not quite asleep,
I listen to his little noises while I
watch the news on low volume.
The other two sleep,
tired out by the sun.
I can’t face tidying,
Or moving from the sofa just yet.
I’ll just take another five minutes.
