#33

He won’t be put down today, he eats only cool grapes and strawberries.
He won’t sleep on his own bed, only next to me, his head wedged up against the pillow.
He is sad and teary with teething today, and wants only to be held and touched.
He wants to know I am there,
that I am not going anywhere.
And then, when he knows he is safe, he sleeps.
